What is a Dongle?

Many of our software platforms are unlocked for use on the computer system with a Dongle also referred to as a Security Key. The key that attaches to the CPU can be either Parallel or USB. If the key needs a unique option code to unlock it will prompt you to enter the code. That code is sent with the Key at time of purchase or you may contact our service department to obtain your option code.

What is our standard turn around time on repairs?

The standard turn around time for repairs on Holter equipment is between 10 to 15 business days. Rush services and Loaner equipment is available to applicable customers.

Where can I find the Operator Manual for the AB Holter Software?

The Operator’s Manual is located on the software itself. It can be accessed by clicking on the Help Button on the Toolbar and selecting Help Topics from the drop down menu.

Where can I find the Operator Manual for the NH-300 Holter Software?

The Operator’s Manual is located on the NH-300 Installation CD. It can be accessed by exploring the contents of the CD and selecting the PDF file named NH-300 Operator Manual. (NOTE: Once this Manual is accessed it is suggested that you save it to your computer’s hard-drive for future use.)

How do I change the time on an AM5400/AM5600 Holter?

After powering the unit via Battery, the parameter settings can be accessed by pressing inside the parameter button (located to the left of the LCD Screen). The parameter button should be pressed to advance settings. Once the hour setting (#:) is accessed, pressed the patient event button (grey square button) to set the appropriate hour. Next, press the parameter button to access the minute setting (:#) and press the patient event button to set appropriate minutes.

How do I change the date/time on an AB-180/MS2000 Holter?

After powering the unit via Battery, scroll via the Second button starting from the top (arrow pointing in the Right direction) until you are on the Date/Time Screen. The bottom of your screen displays “press Enter to make changes”. The Enter button (the bottom circular button) allows you to access the settings. You can scroll from one setting to another via the up and down arrows and change the settings via the side-to-side arrows. Save the changes you make by pressing the Enter button.

How do I change the date/time on an AB-180R/DL800 Holter?
 

After powering the unit via Battery, scroll via the Second button starting from the left (arrow pointing in the Right direction) until you are on the Date/Time Screen. The bottom of your screen displays “press Enter to make changes”. The Enter button (the large circular button the keypad) should be pressed in order to make changes to the date. The enter button should be pressed twice in order to make changes to the time. Use the up and down arrows to scroll from one setting to another and the side-to-side arrows to make changes to settings. Once all changes are made press the enter button again to save your changes.

How do I change the record time from 24 to 48hrs on a MS2000/AB-180R/DL800?
 

After the patient is hooked up via the lead wires and all channels have been viewed and verified, scrolling to the next screen, the Settings screen, you can change the line that says 24 to 48 by first pressing the enter button (the circular button) to make changes and second by using the side-to-side arrow to change the number. Once you’ve made your change press the enter button again to save it.

How do I change the “hours to scan” from 24 to 48 hrs in the Win PV Software?
 

From the main blue screen of the Win PV Holter software click on the Scan tab at the top left side of the toolbar. When the drop down menu appears, click on Scanning Profiles from the list. Once the Scanning Profiles page has appeared, press the Edit Scan Parameters button on the bottom left side of the page. The “hours to scan” box is the second one on the left side of the page, by pressing the up and down arrows within this box you can select the number of patient data you want the software to scan.

How do I enter my QRS-Card ECG PID?

1. Open the QRS-Card ECG Program
2. Select Utility – Configuration – Options
3. *Enter 47E4 2B52 825B CE82J in the PID entry box.
4. Close and restart the QRS-Card ECG program


* Enter the PID number listed on the QRS-Card label.

My QRS-ECG program will not accept any new a patient entries. What should I do?
 

QRS-Card Emergency Database Restoration Procedure

1. Exit all programs and return to your desktop.
2. Double click on the MY COMPUTER icon on your desktop
3. Double click on the (C:) drive letter icon on your desktop.
4. From the command line menu, click on VIEW - ARRANGE ICONS BY - NAME.
5. Look for all files labeled QRSDB(X) where (X) represents a number. Examples, QRSDB3, QRSDB4, QRSDB5, etc.
6. Note the last file in sequence and annotate the next available file number. (In this case it would be QRSDB6)
7. Exit MY COMPUTER by clicking on the X located in the very top right hand corner of the screen.
8. Open the QRS-Card program.
9. Click on UTILITY – CONFIGURATION from the command line menu.
10. Click on the tab labeled DATABASE
11. Change the ROOT to QRSDB(X) where (X) represents the new number, and then click APPLY. (In this case it would be C:/QRSDB6)
12. Click OK to return to the initial QRS startup screen.
13. Click on UTILITY – IMPORT REPORT from the command line menu.
14. The LOOK IN should default to the “Pulse Biomedical” folder. (If not, click on the down arrow and select PROGRAM FILES – PULSE BIOMEDICAL as your path) Select all files in the Window by depressing the “CTRL + A” keys simultaneously. At this time all files should darken.
15. Click on OPEN to complete the importation of the reports.
16. Start QRS-Card Software and proceed as normal.
